Who we are
We are a team of globetrotter pharmacists who graduated from the University of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. We are scientists with a common passion: Traveling. Not only do we understand health, but we understand wanderlust.
Through our work & travel experiences, we noticed a major lack of travel health awareness. It is important to note that no matter how old you are, your health is the foundation of your life pyramid. Prevention plays an enormous role in health care. And we want to transmit this information to you.
Our goal is to make sure every traveler is well prepared and equipped for every planned journey around the world.
Our mission is to be a travel health companion in order to let clients focus on planning and enjoying their trip.
We aim to ease and innovate the access to travel health support and assure that each traveler has the proper tools for their trips. We want to increase awareness on the necessity of being well prepared before traveling.
We believe in innovation and difference. We embrace different approaches, because ‘’insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results’’, - Albert Einstein
Humanity is the core of our profession. We are dedicated to help and use our expertise to ease processes that may seem unknown or difficult to reach.
We are curious, seek constant improvement and we don’t know it all. The knowledge to discover is as big as the world. Because ‘’Once you stop learning you start dying’’ - Albert Einstein.
We are transparent and work with trust and integrity. ‘’Whoever is careless with the truth in small matter, cannot be trusted with important matters.’’ - Albert Einstein
We are a team. Alone you may go faster, but together, we go further.

Here is our story if you wanna know a little bit more about us
As a healthcare professional, I tend to be over precautious. When traveling, I have a tendency to bring every possible medication ‘’just in case’’. I spend hours making sure I have the appropriate vaccines depending on the country I was visiting and so on.
As I accumulated stamps in my passport and made great connections with people around the globe, I realized that the average traveler was not nearly as prepared nor informed of the precautions that needed be taken. It stroke me the most when I visited India for a yoga and meditation retreat, which by the way was one of the most enriching experiences of my life (I highly recommend it). Unfortunately, it wasn’t the case for everyone, as more than half of the attendees got sick. Many got, fever, and others some digestive problems (I’ll spare you the details). Over the course of the retreat, as word got around that I was a pharmacist, many came to me for help and pharmaceutical advice. This experience made me realize that the world’s healthcare system was lacking a crucial component: general population awareness concerning prevention and travel health.
Indeed traveling to such areas of the world can require to take numerous health precautions such as vaccines, pills for malaria prevention, antibiotics for traveler’s diarrhea treatment, pills for allergies, headaches and/or fever, and so on... overwhelmed? Well, you are not the only one! Sadly, most people aren’t aware that preparing a trip is so important. This is the reason I decided to create a system that would allow me to share my passion for travel as well as my pharmaceutical expertise. I believe we all need to work together in order to increase awareness and help every traveler prepare appropriately for their trip.
My passion, my travel experiences and my expertise, allowed me to pivot my career towards travel health and founded Volyse, your remote travel health clinic.
